hornby thomas and friends Duck Freight Train Set Vintage w/original Box.<br>This is an original Hornby produced train set of Duck, the Great Western Pannier Tank Engine from the “Railway Series” by the Rev. Wilber Awdry, also known as the “Thomas the Tank Engine” franchise.<br>This is a fully function OO scale electric model train. It will run on standard HO gauge track with normal DC transformers.<br>The set includes a milk tank car, a cattle truck, a “troublesome Truck”, a “goods van” (UK counterpart to a North American box car) and a “brake Van” (counterpart to a caboose).<br>The set, to my knowledge was not used much, if at all, and the train itself is in except condition. Duck was tested on my test track and he does run.<br>The to my knowledge, the set was purchased and imported directly from the UK. The set came with tracks and a controller, but those were removed a long time ago.<br>The box has shelf wear, having been in storage for most of the last 25 years or so.<br>
